Abstract
The consitutive behaviors of Ti-6Al-4V fabricated by additive manufacturing technology are charaterized through a series of mechanical tests. These behaviors are then modeled and implemented to orthogonal cutting simulations to investigate the influence of tool with chamfered and rounded edges on process factors such as forces, chip, residual stress and temperature when machining such Ti-6Al-4V.
