Denis Lagadrillère, AMVALOR engineer at LaBoMaP, presented imaging by JEOL FEG 7610 F microscope and x800 magnification of zinc oxide crystals that grew in confined areas of a CuZn39Pb2 brass water meter.
Organized by la Société Française de Métallurgie et de Matériaux (SF2M), this Prize commemorates the contributions of Pierre Armand Jacquet to metallography, in particular for electrolytic polishing, then replicas for the study of fractures.
