LaBoMaP, the Laboratory of Materials and Processes, is specialized in the study of manufacturing processes and their impact on the properties of transformed materials. It is composed of three teams structured around high‑level technological and experimental platforms, and it develops partnership‑based research grounded in the challenges of the local socioeconomic ecosystem in divers industrial sectors (automotive, aeronautic, aerospace, wood industry, nuclear, biomedical….)

• The High‑Speed Machining team, specialized in machining, is an expert in process control, including complex materials or in high‑precision contexts.
• The Wood Material and Machining team conducts internationally recognized scientific work on the peeling process control and predicting the mechanical properties of Engineered wood product made from local wood species.
• The Materials and Surface Engineering team studies and optimizes materials and processes through high performance coating, thermochemical treatments, and elaboration processes control such as casting and forging.
